A clastic limestone composed of shells and shells. The particle size is more than 2mm. Fine carbonate rocks composed of fossil clasts belong to clastic rocks.
Coquina is a limestone which is consolidated by biotic shells, which are consolidated by argillaceous calcite. Coquina is a class of limestone. Limestone contains 3 main types (usually biogenic) Coquina, Oolitic Limestone and Cretaceous limestone. Oolitic Limestone is composed of small spherical calcite particles (including fossils and shellfish), and Cretaceous limestone is formed by the accumulation of skeletal or residual shells of small organisms.
